I’ve been thinking about this site for over a year but needed to spend time researching and gathering and praying. And I needed a lot of techie help. Mercy! I’m absolutely clueless when it comes to techie stuff. I have thoughts in my head but can’t always figure out how to get what I envision onto the site. Lets just say it took awhile (insert eyeroll here).
Today is World Kindness Day so I’m launching despite my site not being perfect. It’s a bit like me… a work in progress.
Here’s what I do have:
365 random acts of kindness to encourage and equip you.
365 kindness quotes to inspire you.
The beginnings of what will be a vast collection of tried and true recipes for gathering in with those you love, and reaching out to those in need.
A page filled with ideas for spreading love and kindness during the holiday season.
And here’s what you can expect:
Daily social media posts that will include a random act of kindness and a kindness quote plus other random ideas or stories.
Weekly blog posts where I will share good news that will, hopefully, encourage and inspire a wave of kindness.
Shopping! I am working on several items that will provide vessels for spreading kindness like “Giving Bags,” and vases, candles, cookie containers, etc that will be designed with words of encouragement and affirmation to make the recipient feel cared for.
Templates to download, print and distribute. (Notes, tags, kindness charts for kids, etc)
Links to resources to equip you with tools for seeing and sharing the good, and for being the change we want to see in the world.
Ideas for cultivating kindness within your home and raising up a generation of kind, compassionate children.
And more stuff that I can’t think of right now because I haven’t been properly caffeinated.
